Parent like a pro.
What if you had the tools to feel confident and in control no matter what parenting life threw at you this week? 💪🏽
👋🏽
I don’t know about you but as a parent, I’m tired. Tired of constantly trying to do everything, stay on top of it all and coming to the end of the week feeling like I didn’t do nearly enough. Worse, that I failed. At home or at work or most likely, at both.
I feel like I’ve had 8 years of my husband and I running into every week armed with a hope-filled battle cry, praying that we’ll emerge on Saturday intact - no major logistical nightmare, no lasting psychological damage.
And yeah, it’s getting old. Constantly feeling like we’re on our heels, reacting to whatever life throws at us, one fire after another.
The question I keep asking is:
How does each of us stop reinventing the wheel every time we come up to a new challenge or a new phase? What if instead, we could take the wisdom of the village, with tools that made it easy for all of us to benefit?
What if we headed into our weeks feeling calm, confident and in control? Feeling like we were prepared for whatever life was going to throw at us this week. What if we could be proactive in creating this reality?
That sounds pretty amazing.
So that’s what we’re doing. Every week we’re digging into one topic and sharing ways for parents to take back control and proactively plan for what’s coming next, using actual, life-tested tools.
Whether it’s big things like researching preschools or smaller things like the pickup/dropoff schedule this week, we’re gathering the best practices of today’s busy parents and serving them up to you. And we’re taking the tools and insight you have and sharing them with those that are coming up behind you.
Welcome to the Club. We’re on a mission to help every parent proactively tackle whatever’s coming at them next, with a little help from our villages.
